This Men’s Health Week, I pledge my commitment to ensuring our Nation’s men have the resources they need to be healthy, resilient, and capable of doing what they do best—caring for their families, uplifting their communities, and forging an even brighter, more prosperous future for America. 

The health challenges men face every day are serious and deserving of meaningful action.  Heart disease is the leading cause of death in the United States, an illness that impacts men significantly more than women.  Prostate cancer is the most common cancer affecting men, with 1-in-8 diagnosed in their lifetime.  The mental health crisis afflicting men is equally alarming:  More than 6 million suffer from depression each year, and their suicide rate is 4 times that of women.  Men are affected by substance abuse at staggering rates, with 16 million living with a substance use disorder and dying of drug overdose at more than twice the rate of their female counterparts.  These and many more health challenges impact millions of fathers, sons, husbands, and brothers across our country.

My Administration set out from day one to Make America Healthy Again, and, through the tremendous work of the Make America Healthy Again Commission, we are giving men the tools they need to take control of their health. The  updated dietary guidelines are motivating American men across our country are to  choose whole foods and healthy fats and cut out ultra-processed foods, and multiple agencies have partnered together to inspire regular physical activity, especially in the Great Outdoors. We are advancing precision prostate screening trials for veterans and promoting the importance of preventative care for all American men..    This past April, I was proud to sign an Executive Order accelerating access to breakthrough treatments for Americans living with serious mental health issues, driving research forward and expanding access to promising new drug therapies for those who struggle most.  In January, I signed a historic Executive Order establishing the Great American Recovery Initiative—a $100 million investment to combat substance abuse and expand treatment and recovery options for Americans, greatly impacting men and families across our country.

My Administration is working harder than ever to empower men to take control of their well-being and usher in a Golden Age of Health.  Under the Great Healthcare Plan, we are lowering the cost of life-saving medications, reducing insurance premiums, and holding big insurance companies accountable.  TrumpRx is bringing meaningful price transparency to the American healthcare system, empowering Americans to compare and access previously high-cost brand  medications at the most competitive prices available anywhere in the world.

Last year, President Donald J. Trump designated Antifa a domestic terrorist organization and directed the full power of the federal government to hunt down, disrupt, and dismantle the violent anarchist network. This week, the Department of Justice struck another decisive blow by charging 15 Antifa-linked terrorists in a conspiracy to violently obstruct lawful immigration enforcement operations in Minneapolis.

These charges are the latest in the Trump Administration’s relentless campaign to eradicate Antifa’s domestic terrorism threat:

• Minnesota: Yesterday, 15 Antifa operatives were charged with coordinating violent attacks on ICE agents and facilities during Operation Metro Surge in Minneapolis, where they deployed blockades, vehicle tracking, intimidation, and other militant tactics to sabotage the operation. In February, a self-described Antifa member was charged with cyberstalking and threatening ICE officers.
• Oregon: Since mid-2025, dozens of Antifa militants have been arrested and charged — with multiple convictions already secured — following their prolonged siege against the Portland ICE facility. Rioters repeatedly assaulted officers, lobbed incendiary devices, and engaged in sustained attacks on federal personnel and property.
• Texas: In March, nine members of a North Texas Antifa cell were convicted on terrorism-related charges — in addition to seven others who pleaded guilty — for their violent, armed ambush on an ICE detention facility.
• Washington: In May, multiple Antifa insurgents were convicted on federal conspiracy charges for their roles in a violent attack at a Spokane ICE facility.
• New Jersey: In May, an Antifa thugs violently laid siege to a Newark ICE detention center, resulting in dozens of arrests and federal charges.
• California: In December, Antifa extremists were charged in a coordinated bombing plot targeting multiple businesses, ICE agents, vehicles, and other sites across Southern California.
• Indiana: An Antifa-linked terrorist was sentenced for threats to bomb government buildings and assassinate prominent politicians.

The Trump Administration has made it clear: Antifa terrorists and their networks will be investigated, disrupted, prosecuted, and neutralized with the full force of federal law. There will be no safe harbor for those who attack law enforcement, obstruct lawful immigration enforcement, or wage campaigns of political violence against the American people.

President Trump’s leadership has already produced results — and this is only the beginning.

Today, the Council on Environmental Quality, in collaboration with NASA’s Center of Excellence for Collaborative Innovation, opened the attendee interest form for the Permitting Innovators Expo — a full-day event focused on shaping the future of environmental review and permitting through public-private collaboration.

The Permitting Innovators Expo will take place on July 31, 2026, at the Hilton Arlington Rosslyn The Key. The event will feature high-potential solutions, each with dedicated space to demonstrate their technologies to federal agencies, policymakers, and industry leaders in environmental review and permitting. Event programming will also include plenary and breakout sessions, where speakers will share lessons learned and best practices in modern federal permitting.

“President Trump took decisive action to ensure the U.S. applies modern technology to longstanding problems in Federal permitting. Now, the private-sector has the opportunity to play a valuable role in providing solutions,” said Council on Environmental Quality Chairman Katherine Scarlett. “By bringing together innovators and government, the Permitting Innovators Expo will help identify high-potential solutions that can accelerate the delivery of critical infrastructure projects to the American people.”

Top-scoring solutions to be featured at Expo

The Expo will give federal agency staff an opportunity to evaluate all qualified solutions side by side, engage directly with the teams behind them, and assess how technologies could support implementation of the Permitting Technology Action Plan as part of President Trump’s Memorandum on Updating Permitting Technology for the 21st Century.

Solutions featured at the Expo will also be included in the Permitting Innovators Solutions Catalog, which will be shared with federal agencies in late 2026.

Earlier this year, CEQ launched the Permitting Innovators Call for Solutions, which invited innovators to submit solutions that could help modernize and accelerate federal environmental reviews and permitting. CEQ will review eligible submissions and invite top-scoring applicants to participate in the Expo.

Today, we celebrate the anniversary of the adoption of Magna Carta—one of history’s earliest and most consequential declarations of human freedom.  Forged over 500 years before the dawn of our Republic, its eternal principles of equal justice, liberty, and the rule of law would ultimately leave an indelible mark on the American way of life. 

On June 15, 1215, King John of England affixed his royal seal to Magna Carta at Runnymede, establishing the cornerstone of liberty upon which many of the world’s free governments would one day be built.  For one of the first times in history, fundamental liberties of mankind were written into the law of the land: that justice must be equal and impartial, that religious liberty must be protected by law, that government may not levy taxes upon its people without their consent, and that no free man may be unduly imprisoned or stripped of his rights except by the lawful judgement of his peers.  It boldly proclaimed that even the mightiest among us are answerable to a higher law and that the rights of free citizens are beyond the reach of any crown or government.  

What was born on the fields of Runnymede would find its truest expression centuries later in the halls of Philadelphia, where our Founding Fathers gathered to forge a new Nation from the same eternal principles.  They carried with them the ancient English love of liberty; a distinctive sense of glory, destiny, and pride;and a culture and character shaped over centuries on both sides of the Atlantic—but they had watched a British crown grow deaf to the very charter it had sworn to uphold.  Having endured thattyranny for too long, our forefathers consecrated themselves to a new Republic grounded in the consent of the governed, equaljustice under the law, and the God-given rights of every free citizen to life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness—a country that would stand as living proof that the timeless ideals of the Great Charter could still sustain a free and sovereign people across the ages.

As we commemorate the anniversary of Magna Carta, we are reminded that the duty to preserve these freedoms falls to every generation of free citizens.  The Patriots who pledged their lives to Independence in 1776 were heirs to the liberties enshrined in the Great Charter, and for 250 years since, America has borne witness to the truth that those ideals can endure—that a nation built on impartial justice, individual liberty, and the rule of law can rise to meet any challenge and remain forever free.  In this incredible milestone year for our Nation, we are the proud heirs of that great legacy—and we resolve to carry it forward with the same conviction that has defined every generation of Americans who came before us.

Today, our Nation celebrates the 251st birthday of the United States Army, the oldest branch of the most storied and feared fighting force the world has ever known.  For over two and a half centuries, the courage and sacrifice of our soldiers have defended our homeland and kept our Nation sovereign, strong, and free in the blessings of liberty.  Our Republic salutes these heroes, and on this glorious anniversary, we stand as one people, bound by gratitude, humbled by their sacrifices, and unwavering in our commitment to the brave men and women who will always defend her.

The United States Army was established on June 14, 1775, when the Second Continental Congress authorized the creation of a unified Continental Army under the command of General George Washington.  From the birth of our Nation the next year and the brutal winter of Valley Forge to the triumphant fields of Saratoga and the victory at Yorktown that secured our freedom, the United States Army has been at the center of our great national story from the very beginning.  In the 251 years since its inception, the Army has answered every call history has placed before it:  preserving the Union through the perils of civil war, liberating the long-suffering people of Cuba during the Spanish-American War, and crossing vast oceans to deliver absolute victory in two World Wars.  Our warfighters stood firm in the frozen hills of Korea, endured the unforgiving jungles of Vietnam, and answered the call to defend freedom in the scorching deserts of Kuwait and Iraq and in the rugged mountains of Afghanistan.  Today, our Army remains on the front lines in the fight to preserve America’s peace, prosperity, and security

Just as the Army has always fought for us, we must now stand up for them.  My Administration has proposed historic investments to rebuild our Army like never before and ensure our warfighters have every tool at their disposal.  Combined with hundreds of billions of dollars in Army investments already delivered through the Working Families Tax Cuts Act, we are upgrading critical Army infrastructure, rapidly delivering advanced weapons systems to our Soldiers, increasing the lethality of our joint force, expanding our defense industrial base, and bolstering our Nation’s strategic deterrence through an unwavering America First agenda. 

Our soldiers and their families deserve the full support of a grateful Nation, and last Christmas, I was proud to deliver a Warrior Dividend to more than 1.5 million Service Members, a tax-free $1,776 bonus in honor of the year our Nation was born and a fitting recognition of the sacrifice and valor these Americans demonstrate every day in defense of our freedoms and way of life.  Under my leadership, we have also purged the anti-American DEI ideologies that took root in our ranks, restored the warrior ethos to its rightful place at the center of military culture, and rebuilt our Army on the foundation it has always thrived upon:  merit, grit, and strength.  Today, our soldiers are once again united by a commitment to this Nation’s founding principles, the American people’s shared and glorious history, and an unbreakable devotion to duty.  The results speak for themselves:  Recruiting has surged to historic levels, with the Army reaching its 2026 goals 4 months ahead of schedule. 

As we celebrate 250 glorious years of American Independence, we greet the arrival of a new Golden Age for the United States Army.  We commit to always standing with our incredible Service Members, their proud families, and the loved ones who support them.  Above all, we honor every soldier who has ever answered the call to serve and reaffirm the timeless pledge that has guided generations:  This We’ll Defend.

On June 12, 1776, Virginia unanimously proclaimed the Virginia Declaration of Rights—the first official declaration of individual liberties in the American Colonies and one of the most consequential documents in the history of human freedom.  Its immortal truths inspired both the Declaration of Independence and the Constitution, forever shaping the destiny of our Republic.

As the flame of liberty spread across the American Colonies, the Fifth Virginia Convention met in Williamsburg in the spring of 1776 to construct a new order of self-governance for a free and sovereign people.  Determined to cast off the chains of British tyranny, they fought to secure what no king could take away:  the right to govern themselves, to speak freely, to worship as they chose, and to be judged by their fellow citizens rather than the decrees of a distant crown.  Leading this extraordinary effort was the great patriot and statesman George Mason, whose extraordinary vision and unwavering devotion to liberty produced a document that would change the course of history.

Inspired by the timeless wisdom of enlightenment thinkers like John Locke, the Virginia Declaration of Rights boldly proclaimed the eternal truth that all men are by nature equally free and independent, possessing inherent rights that are endowed by our Creator and beyond the reach of any earthly power.  It declared that all political power is vested in the people and that the government exists to serve the citizen—not the citizen to serve the government.  The Declaration also affirmed the time-honored principles of separation of powers, checks and balances, freedom of the press, trial by jury, and the free exercise of religion—enduring pillars of liberty that remain the bedrock of our Republic today.

For most of human history, these truths had lived only in the hearts of men—felt deeply yet never spoken, never committed to law, and never wielded as a shield against the ambitions of tyrants.  The Virginia Declaration of Rights changed that forever, establishing in permanent words what Providence had long ordained but no free people had ever before enshrined in the foundations of their government.  Just weeks later, Thomas Jefferson would draw upon the language and ideals of this extraordinary document while drafting the Declaration of Independence.  Years later, James Madison relied upon its enduring wisdom as the blueprint for the Bill of Rights, securing the fundamental liberties that continue to make America the single greatest beacon of freedom and prosperity the world has ever known.

As we celebrate the 250th anniversary of its adoption, we renew our solemn pledge to preserve and defend the sacred principles enshrined in the Virginia Declaration of Rights.  We reaffirm our commitment to protecting these liberties bestowed upon us by Almighty God, upholding equal justice under the law, and carrying forward this glorious inheritance of freedom for generations to come.

PROTECTING CRITICAL MILITARY AND INTELLIGENCE MISSIONS: Today, President Donald J. Trump signed a National Security Presidential Memorandum to bolster the cybersecurity of America’s National Security Systems (NSS) and modernize NSS governance to meet the cyber challenges of 2026 and beyond. 

• NSS encompasses the US’s most sensitive computer systems – those that process classified information or support military and intelligence missions.
• The Memorandum establishes a clear structure, authorities, roles, and responsibilities for the governance of NSS and accountability to NSS cybersecurity requirements for its owners and operators.
• The Memorandum helps ensure that NSS owned or operated by civilian agencies receive a defense commensurate to those of the Department or War (DOW) and Intelligence Community (IC).
• The Memorandum reestablishes the Committee on National Security Systems (CNSS) and modernizes it for the first time in over 35 years to establish baseline cybersecurity requirements for all NSS and enhance accountability and coordination across agencies to implement necessary cyber defenses across all NSS. 
  • The CNSS will oversee the cybersecurity of NSS across the US Government and issue binding security directives to all NSS owners and operators.
  • The CNSS will provide collaboration, standardization, and efficient resource management by promoting coordination and information sharing across Federal agencies, public-private partnerships, and international liaison activities.
  • The CNSS will leverage the combined authorities and resources of the Federal Chief Information Officer, the Chief Information Officers of the DOW and IC, and the Director of the National Security Agency (NSA) to ensure that there are no gaps or weak links in NSS defenses.
• The Memorandum empowers the Director of the National Security Agency as the National Manager for National Security Systems and the cryptologic authority of NSS. It allows the Director to leverage the full technical power of the National Security Agency to provide advanced defenses and assistance in order to bolster the security of NSS across the U.S. government.
• The Memorandum promotes the efficient use of taxpayer dollars by encouraging the use of shared services in NSS and requiring the recission of outdated requirements.
• The Memorandum establishes a Policy Coordination Committee to work with the CNSS to request an assessment of NSS cybersecurity posture.

DEFENDING NATIONAL SECURITY SYSTEMS ACROSS THE FEDERAL GOVERNMENT: President Trump is prioritizing these foundational systems to guarantee the federal government remains dominant in the cyber environment.

• Secure NSS empower America’s men and women on the frontlines to accomplish their critical missions, return home safely, and usher in a new area of peace through strength.
• Updating and defending these systems is essential to meet the cybersecurity challenges we face in 2026 and in the future. 

ADVANCING NATIONAL CYBER SECURITY: President Trump is advancing U.S. cybersecurity for the safety of all Americans. 

• President Trump has made it clear that this Administration will do what it takes to make America cyber secure – including focusing relentlessly on technical and organizational professionalism to improve the security and resilience of the nation’s information systems and networks.
• In June 2025, President Trump signed an Executive Order to strengthen the nation’s cybersecurity, focusing on critical protections against foreign cyber threats and enhancing secure technology practices.
• In June 2025, President Trump signed a National Security Presidential Memorandum on Artificial Intelligence (AI) in the National Security Enterprise, establishing a new framework to put the most advanced, secure, and reliable AI systems into the hands of America’s warfighters and intelligence professionals while ensuring their responsible use. 
• In March 2026, President Trump signed an Executive Order to combat cybercrime, fraud, and predatory schemes targeting American families, businesses, and critical infrastructure.
• In March 2026, President Trump released his Cyber Strategy for America, outlining his priorities to ensure America remains unrivaled in cyberspace. 
• In June 2026, President Trump signed an Executive Order to advance American artificial intelligence (AI) innovation to strengthen America’s cybersecurity, protect critical infrastructure, and ensure the United States remains the global leader in AI innovation.

During National Homeownership Month, my Administration recommits to making housing more affordable so that young Americans and hardworking families can raise children, build memories, and create a future in a home of their own.

For too long, reckless spending, burdensome regulations, and failed housing policies drove up home prices and mortgage rates while mass illegal immigration and large institutional investors strained the housing supply.  The result was a housing affordability crisis brought on by the failed leadership of the previous administration.  Now, under my leadership, my Administration is fixing the mess we inherited and restoring the American Dream of homeownership. 

From the first day I returned to office, I proudly signed an Executive Order to deliver price relief to Americans crushed by the left-wing cost-of-living crisis — launching a bold new era of progress on supply, affordability, and opportunity for every hardworking family across our country.  My Administration is working to restore integrity to Federal housing programs by ensuring taxpayer-sponsored loans once again reach the law‑abiding citizens who truly need them, not illegal aliens and fraudsters who rob Americans of more affordable housing options.  I have also directed Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac to purchase $200 billion in mortgage-backed securities to further drive down borrowing costs so that more of our citizens can achieve homeownership. 

Earlier this year, I took unprecedented action to ban large institutional investors from purchasing single-family homes, keeping more houses available for American families, not corporations.  Through the Stopping Wall Street from Competing with Main Street Homebuyers Executive Order, we put prospective homebuyers back at the front of the line, directing Federal agencies to block big corporations from using Government-backed resources to outbid responsible homebuyers and unleashing the full power of antitrust enforcement to stop corporate giants from manipulating rents and pricing families out of their own neighborhoods.  I call on the Congress to make these reforms permanent and pass the bipartisan 21st Century ROAD to Housing Act — the most comprehensive and consequential housing legislation in the history of our country. 

The victories we have achieved for American homeowners and homebuyers are unprecedented, and my Administration will never stop fighting to protect and expand them.  Under my leadership, America will be a Nation where homes belong to families — not corporations — and we will never rest until the full promise and prosperity of this great Nation is felt by every hardworking citizen in a home they can proudly call their own.

NOW, THEREFORE, I, DONALD J. TRUMP, President of the United States of America, by virtue of the authority vested in me by the Constitution and the laws of the United States, do hereby proclaim June 2026 as National Homeownership Month.

A PROCLAMATION

On June 14, 1777, the delegates of the Second Continental Congress adopted a resolution declaring “that the flag of the United States be thirteen stripes, alternate red and white; that the union be thirteen stars, white in a blue field, representing a new Constellation.”  In the 250th year of our glorious Republic, this Flag Day celebrates the American People, whose enduring spirit allows our beloved and timeless tricolor standard to fly as the greatest symbol of freedom, democracy, and sovereign strength the world has ever known.

At its inception, the Stars and Stripes symbolized America’s fundamental precepts of liberty, justice, and dependence on Almighty God.  Our Nation’s official banner and the principles that propelled our Founding Fathers to boldly undertake the most consequential act of self-governance of all time have withstood the test of time.  The flag is a physical representation of our storied past, shared sacrifice, common heritage, and divine destiny.  From the frozen ground of Valley Forge to the blood-soaked field of Gettysburg; from the triumphant beaches of Normandy to the desolate face of the Moon; and from the granite steps of the Lincoln Memorial to the heart of every patriot who continues to define American Excellence to this day — wherever our beautiful flag flies, America’s greatness follows.  After nearly two and a half centuries, through every tragedy and triumph, Old Glory remains the strongest beacon of sovereignty and hope the world has ever known, thanks to the devoted patriots of the past who made it so — and it is up to us to keep her flying proudly for generations to come.

Our beautiful flag is a global ensign of America’s indominable spirit, matchless power, and endless resolve to achieve a more perfect Union.  This sacred symbol of the American people, carried by generations with incredible courage and unshakable faith in the promise of our Nation, deserves our deepest admiration, protection, and respect.  Last year, I signed an Executive Order to preserve the dignity of our flag by enforcing accountability for acts of desecration tied to violence and lawlessness.  We also authorized the revocation of visas, residency, and naturalization for foreign nationals who desecrate the banner under which millions of American patriots have fought and died.  As President, I will always wield the full power of my office in defense of our flag’s sacred honor, and I will never rest in my commitment to ensure that the proudest emblem of liberty is forever treated with the reverence it has so dearly earned.

Next month, America will celebrate the most important milestone in our history — 250 glorious years of blessed Independence — and the Red, White, and Blue will preside over jubilant commemorations from sea to shining sea.  It will billow atop flagpoles in sprawling cities and on neighborhood porches in small towns; it will fly over beaches, stadiums, parks, iconic landmarks, and military bases.  Our flag will wave in the hands of children at parades and festivals and flap solemnly as a sentinel over hallowed cemeteries of the fallen.  On Flag Day, during National Flag Week, and throughout the summer of this historic year, may our majestic flag soar as a triumphant symbol of all the American people have achieved and serve as a shining herald of the new Golden Age that lies before us.

To commemorate the adoption of our flag, the Congress, by joint resolution approved August 3, 1949, as amended (63 Stat. 492), designated June 14 of each year as “Flag Day” and requested that the President issue an annual proclamation calling for its observance and for the display of the flag of the United States on all Federal Government buildings.  The Congress also requested, by joint resolution approved June 9, 1966, as amended (80 Stat. 194), that the President issue annually a proclamation designating the week in which June 14 occurs as “National Flag Week” and calling upon all citizens of the United States to display the flag during that week.

NOW, THEREFORE, I, DONALD J. TRUMP, President of the United States of America, do hereby proclaim June 14, 2026, as Flag Day and the week starting June 14, 2026, as National Flag Week.  I direct the appropriate officials to display the flag on all Federal Government buildings during this week, and I urge all Americans to observe Flag Day and National Flag Week by displaying the flag.  I also encourage the people of the United States to proudly observe with all due ceremony those days from Flag Day through Independence Day, set aside by the Congress (89 Stat. 211), as a time to honor America, to celebrate our heritage in public gatherings and activities, and to publicly recite the Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag of the United States of America.
